It is with great pleasure that we welcome Susana Ivana Cazorla Espinosa as a guest contributor to Timón Económico.
Susana Cazorla is director and founding partner at SICEnrgy, an independent consultancy specializing in sectoral regulation and economic competition in the energy sector.
With over 15 years of experience in the energy industry, Susana Cazorla has been deeply involved in the development and implementation of economic regulations at the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) and formulating public policy at Sener and now as a consultant. She has held roles such as head of the LP Gas Unit, head of the Economic Analysis Unit, and chief advisor to the CRE President. She was twice elected vice president of the International Confederation of Energy Regulators (ICER). And she’s a board member at the nonprofit Voz Experta.
Susana Cazorla is a contributor to specialized journals, a public speaker, and a frequent panelist at national and international events. She has further media presence on the radio and on television. And she serves as an adjunct professor of economics at ITAM and UP.
Susana Cazorla is an economist from ITAM and holds a Master of Science in Public Financial Policy from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE).
